Telegram Integration
Connect your AI agents to Telegram and chat with users directly.
Overview
AI Teammate provides two ways to connect to Telegram:
🚀 Shared Bot (Easy)
Use our official bot @AITeammate37Bot. No setup required.
Recommended for most users⚙️ Custom Bot
Use your own bot token from @BotFather. Full control.
For advanced usersUsing Shared Bot
Go to Integrations
Navigate to Settings → Integrations
Generate Connect Code
Click "Connect Telegram" to generate a 6-character code
Send Code to Bot
Open Telegram and send the code to @AITeammate37Bot:
/connect ABC123Done!
You can now chat with AI Teammate on Telegram
Using Custom Bot
Create Bot on Telegram
Open @BotFather and send /newbot
Copy Bot Token
BotFather will give you a token like 123456789:ABCdefGHI...
Add Token to Agent
Go to your agent's settings → Channels → Telegram → "Custom Bot" tab
Save and Test
Save the token and start chatting with your custom bot

Troubleshooting
Code expired?
Connect codes expire after 5 minutes. Generate a new one from the Integrations page.
Bot not responding?
Make sure you're chatting with the correct bot (@AITeammate37Bot) and your account is connected.
